Minisink Valley Reformed Dutch Church Records, 1716-1830, page 30, has a baptism date of Nov 18, 1779 and no date of birth is listed. Edward Hoagland's book, page 31, says he was born in Newton, NJ. Books in possession of Brown family. I took a picture of the stone. Note: Edward Hoagland's book, page 31 says he was born 5/2/1780; copy in possession of Brown family.
