BAPTISM:  re-baptised 2nd Dec 1877 by Martin V Hale and reconfirmed the same date by the same person per microfilm record of Portage Ward #013-003-0026363.

HISTORY:  He owned the first team of horses in Portage.  He was a good musician and played the violin for dances, while two of Charles's wives sang.
