-Sarah &  3 sons sailed on the John J. Boyd departed 23 Apr 1862 from Liverpool, England and arrived 1 Jun 1862 in New York, New York with 702 LDS immigrants and James S. Brown as leader.  (Source: Mormon Immigration Index)
- Sarah with these three sons are in the Homer Duncan Company of 1862 that left Florence, Nebraska on 22 July 1862, arriving in SLC 21-24 Sept 1862.  Records here claim she was widowed but PAF infor says John died in Utah in 1867 - "widow" must be incorrect. (Source: Mormon Pioneer Overland Travel, 1847-1868)
