Leo was an auto and machinery mechanic. He was inventive in both fields. In
his earlier years he worked in construction work with his fathers company, doing concrete work and did maintance on the job equipment. Leo and his wife Eliza learned to fly small aircraft while in Nebraska working on construction.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  Earlier years he enjoyed building and riding inboard motor boats.

Baptized: 14 April 1923 by O.P. Merrill and was confirmed the same day by his father Luther L. Fife.
