I got an email from Holly Hargadine a few weeks back. She's 24 and a pilot living (I think) in Illinois. She'll be a 3rd cousin to Norma and descends from Levi. I've sent her the printout of her line and she
wrote back saying that her family is having a blast with the information. She's promised to fill in the holes with her immediate family and help where she can with what is known in her line. She's on
the go all the time so I don't expect that it will be quick. The photo I found a long time ago on the internet. After we started writing I realized that I had it pack ratted away so I sent it to her.

In a packet from the Colorado/Kansas bunch I have the typewriter notes (I think) of Deloss Hargadine. The notes are probably 20+ years old. Anyway, under the category of Raleigh Hargadine is says -wife: Frances - son of Lester, grandson of Taylor (raised by Taylor) got this information from cemetery at Edelstein, Illinois - Dec. 27, 1966:

What I get out of this is a Hargadine found the grave stones of Levi and wrote down the information. I don't have them identified either. The author did a good job of documenting the line down from William Henry and Sarah Sprague and the author didn't know who Levi was either so we can probably assume that Levi isn't from the William Henry and Sarah Sprague line. That's my guess so could be wrong.
I have Levi entered in to FTM but not attached to anybody. If you discover anything please let me know.

GEORGE HARGADINE, FORMER PEORIA COUNTY RESIDENT, BURIED.
The remains of George Hargadine of Omaha were brought here for burial Tuesday morning and interred in the city cemetery.
The deceased was an uncle of Lee Carter and was a resident of Peoria county several years ago. Taylor Hargadine living near Dunlap is a brother. A wife and several children survive him.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Hargadine have returned from Nebraska, where they went to see Mr. Hargadine's brother, who was very sick and who died soon after their arrival there. The remains were brought to Chillicothe for burial Wednesday.

Taylor Hargadine at his residence at Dunlap, Ill. Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock, age 73 years 5 months, 14 days. Funeral services Friday Sept 24, at 2 p.m. at the above residence.
The death of L. T. Hargadine accurred at his home east of Dunlap Wednesday morning. Obiturary will be published later.

Taylor Hargadine
Taylor Hargadine, son of Levi and Ann Hargadine was born near Dunlap, Ill. , April 8, 1847. He was married to Louisa Hurd June 1st 1868. To them were born two sons, Lester Levi and John C. All the years of his life, a little more than 73, were spent within a half mile of his birthplace.
A loving husband, a kind father, a good neighbor and a friend to all he will ever be remembered. He was a great sufferer for a long time, but bore it with patience. His greatest grief was in leaving his beloved wife and family. He leaves to mourn him besides his wife and two sons, eleven grandchildren and a host of friends. The Heavenly Father took him to his rest on the morning of Sept. 22, 1920 aged 73 years, 5 months and 14 days.
