Born Aug. 7, 1882, Richmond, Cache County to Francis and Jocosa Jane Robinson Whitehead.  Married Edith Hubbard, Oct 12, 1904, Logan LDS Temple.  Retired farmer, southern Idaho.  Logan resident 20 years.  Member LDS Church.     Survivors:  widow; sons, daughters, Newell, Salmon, Idaho; Reed, Pocatello; Lowell, Chula Vista, California; Wallace, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; J.D., Ogden, Mrs. Ed (Inez) Homer, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Duggan (Afton) Gibbs, McCammon, Idaho.  Funeral Wednesday noon, Logan Third LDS Ward Chapel.  Friends call Hall Mortuary, Logan, Tuesday 7-9 p.m., Wednesday prior to services.  Burial Logan City Cemetery.

                   Obituary:  Logan -- Edith Maria Hubbard Whitehead, 93, died September 2, 1977 in a Logan hosptial.
       Born Dec 26, 1883, Willard to James Willard and Emma Pettingill Hubbard.  Married John W. Whitehead Oct 13, 1904, Bench, Idaho.  Later solemnized Logan LDS Temple.  He died.  A son, Grant, proceded her in death.
       Survivors:  5 sons, 2 daughters:  Newell W., Salmon, Idaho, Mrs. Edmund (Inez) Homer, Salt Lake City, Reed W., Pocatello, Idahp; Mrs. Duggan (Afton) Gibbs, McCammon, Idaho; Lowell H., Chula Vista, California; Wallace  K., Lava Hot Springs; Junior D., Ogden, 28 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, 2 sisters, Charles W. , Smithfield; Mrs. Ida M. Peterson, Grace, Idaho; Mrs. Jane E. Hogan, Salt Lake City.
       Funeral services Tuesday, 11 a.m., Logan 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, 250 N. 500 West.  Friends may call Hall Mortuary, Monday, 7-8 p.m. and at the ward one hour before services Tuesday.  Burial Logan City Cemetery.
