Both signed with their marks in the  presence of Leonard Wild and Thomas Crompton.

Birth:  Robert, son of William Robinson and Alice Howorth of Clegg Hall, June 8, 1783, St. Mary's, Rochdale, FHL Film #1545749.  (Robert's birth parents have been in question, due to the fact that Robert was not found in Bury Parish, where he was married and had his children.  Rochdale is 6 miles away. William and Alice were married under the name of Robinshaw and their name interchanges with Robinson.
      Robert's oldest son, William, has 4 children in Freetown, Bury.  Three of them are listed on the parish records under the name of Robinson.  One son, Thomas, is listed under the name of Robertshaw. There are other Robinsons and Robertshaws and Robinshaws in Bury and Rochdale who interchange names.)

Death:  Robert Robertshaw of Freetown was buried June 26, 1831.  FHL Film #0093683 No. 152.
