Marriage: 1846, in the Parish Church in the Parish of Bury in the County of Lancaster, John Robinson, official age, bachelor and weaver, living in Bury at the time of marriage and Ann Platt, official age, spinster, living in Bury at the time of marriage.  Married 23 Feb 1846.  John's father - Robert Robinson - weaver.  Ann's father - James Platt - fuller.  John could write, Ann could not. In the presence of Edmund Nuttall (could not write). John's father - Robert Robinson - weaver.  Ann's father - James Gregson - Tailor.  Married in the Chapel of St. George according to the rites and ceremonies of the United Church of England and Ireland after Banns.  Both John and Ann could sign their names.  In the presence of Richard Attwood and James Picton, both could sign their names.  No. 252, Civil Registration MA 318719.
