Card GREAVES

                   Obituary, Salt Lake Tribune, 16 Feb 1977:  Card Greaves, 83, died February 12, 1977 in Portland, Oregon.
        Born February 2, 1894 in Preston, Idaho, a son of John Clouley and Althea Card Greaves.  Married Elsie Calysta Egbert, December 10, 1919, Salt Lake Temple.  She died 1962.  Married Verle C. Smith, in 1964 in Portland where he has lived the past 36 years.  Worked for the Oregon and Idaho State Tax Commission, CPA associated with Brown, Hansen, and Steenson Law Firm for 25 years. Served an LDS mission in the Eastern States in 1917-1919.  He was a high priest in the LDS Church at time of death.
       Surviving:  widow, 2 daughters; Mrs. Stewart (Edythe) Glenn, Bountiful, Mrs. Gayland (Norma) Hayden, Portland, Oregon; 4 stepchildren:  Frank Smith, Wesley Smith, Arylett Smith, Mrs. Harriet Halbert; 6 grandchildren.
       Funeral in Portland, February 16, graveside services in the Preston Cemetery Friday February 18, 1 p.m.  Friends call Webb Mortuary 2 hours prior to graveside services.
