Obituary: LeRoy Mallory, 68, 1870 E. 27th South, owner of Mallory Investment Co., died of natural causes Thursday at 10:45 p.m., at his home. Mr. Mallory was a member of the Salt Lake Real Estate Board. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The businessman had served as president of the Tahitian LDS Mission from 1933 to 1937 and from 1949 to 1952. Prior to his assignment as president, he had fulfilled a mission to Tahiti from 1919 to 1922. A son of Charles L. and Emily Stoffers Mallory, he was born May 28, 1896, in Cokeville, Wyoming. He married Murial Ann Robinson May 3, 1922 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Mallory was bishop of the Grandview Ward, Wilford Stake, and served as president of the stake high priest quorum. Surviving are his widow, two sons and a daughter, Roy W. Orem; Douglas R., Bountiful; Mrs. Lloyd (Carol) Clawson, Kamas, Summit County; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sister, John C., Brigham City; Earl W., Frank W., both Salt Lake City; George D., Dan Diego, California; Mrs. Harvey (Rosella) Crook, Smoot, Wyoming. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at noon in the Grandview Ward Chapel, 2930-20th East. Friends may call at 260 E. South Temple Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

Mallory, May 3 1922 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 28, 1968. She was educated in Freedom. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Salt Lake City Chapter, Shiera Club. She was an honorary Golden Gleaner. She had been a stake and ward Relief Society President. She has served two missions in Tahiti with her husband, who was president of the Tahitian mission. Survivors include two sons and a daughter, Roy W. Mallory, Provo; Douglas R. mallory, Naperville, Illinois; Mrs. Lloyd (Carol) Clawson, Salt Lake City, Utah; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Edith R. Breeze, Tacoma, Washington.
