Obituary, Salt Lake Tribune, 14 May 1968: Heber Guy Johnson, 70, died Friday, May 10 at his home after a seven-month illness. Born Nov. 6, 1897, Logan, a son of Heber Joseph and Jane Whitehead Johnson. Reared and educated at Richmond. Married Emorett (Peg) Stoddard, June 14, 1923, Logan LDS Temple. Moved to Tremonton in 1928 as District Representative, Utah Power and Light Co. He retired five years ago. Charter member of the Tremonton Lions, secretary and manager of the Bear River Valley Chamber of Commerce. Survivors: widow; sons, daughters, Dr. Jack Stoddard Johnson, Mrs. Owen (Jill) Cannon, all Tremonton, Mrs. Floyd D. (Tess) Nielson, Salem, Oregon; Mrs. William D. (Peggy) Taylor, Kaysville; Thomas Stoddard Johnson, Kansas City, Kansas; nine grandchildren, sisters, Mrs. R. C. (Eva) Stoddard, Mrs. Grayce Kindred, and Miss Eunice Johnson, Salt Lake City, Mrs. A. E. (Veda) Miller, Mexico City, Mexico. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Tremonton First Ward chapel. Friends call at Rogers Mortuary Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 11 to funeral. Burial in the Riverview Cemetery in Tremonton.

Attended North Cache High School. Has lived in Salt Lake City since 1943. Was employed at LDS Hospital Pharmacy for 12 years. Member LDS church. Surivivors: two sisters, Mrs. Veda J. Miller, Mrs. Grayce J. Kindred, both Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 2nd 1979 at noon at the Richmond, Utah LDS Stake Center. Friends may call Wednesday 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street and Thursday at the stake center one hour prior to services. Interment: Richmond Utah City Cemetery.
