                   Historical information in notes

Note: From Colonial Granville County and its People Loose Leaves from "The Lost Tribes of North Carolina" by Worth S. Ray P. 279:20. Richard Bullock, of New Kent County, Virginia, is known on the records of St. Peter's Parish as Richard Bullock, Sr. After his death in 1702, his son Richard Bullock, Jr. became Richard Bullock, Sr. Richard Bullock, Sr. and Richard Bullock, Jr. were processioners in St. Peter's Parish on May 4, 1689 (St. Peter's Parish Register by Chamberlayne, P.21). Richard Bullock, Jr. would not have been named a processioner unless he was a grown man at the time (1689), hence the Junior Richard was born around 1670, when his grandfather had a suit in Warwick against judge Peter Jennings, over his patrimony.

                   Historical information inlcuded in notes

Note: Edward's date of birth also given as 1665 in New Kent County, VA Date of death also given as 1758.Marriage also listed as 1679 in Hanover County, Virginia, I suspect this one is true or there would have been two wives.Researchers disagree regarding the children of this union... many do not list James or Micajah, and others also list David. Clift only lists John, David, Dorothy, Richard and Edward which are from the book Dalby Family History; A typed history written by a son of Warren Knight Dalby. Written c.1970 at age 94 and published by Norman Leonard Dalby. Many researchers list Sarah Dalby as the spouse of this Edward, and this is certainly possible, but most researchers refer to her as the daughter of Knightingale Dalby and listing children of Sarah and Edward, the son of Micajah. There is considerable proof of the indentities of these two individuals. See further notes regarding them. I have no proof that the spouse of the Edward born abt 1670 is a Dalby, therefore I have listed here as Unknown.26 Jun 1731Deed 400 acres, Hanover Co.Bk 14, p.176, book 142 6 June 1731, land on both sides of Cub Creek. 18 Oct 1730 Petition for 1200 acres, HanoverCo Oct. 18, 1730 petition made for grants of 1200 A of land in 2 tracts lying on both sides of Cub Creek in Hanover Co., VA, surveyed for Thomas Rice and Edward Bullock and for 400 A lying on both sides of Cub Creek above Adams tract in Hanover Co. & for 400 A lying on N. side of the S.
