   A John T. Richards, born May 1841 or May 1839 in Merthyr Tydvil, Glamorganshire, Wales Married Mary Jane Gia, 17 March 1863 in Clayton, Adams, Illinois and Died April 1906.  John t. Richards immigrated to America in his youth.  He was baptized a member of the RLDS on 29 Nov 1874 at Bevier, Missouri by Ephraim Rowland.  He lived in Bevier for 26 years.  Source: Saints Herald obituaries, 1906 p 479 and Early Reorganization Minutes, 1872-1905 Book B.  Record of a Mrs Dorothy Richards born April 1838 and died Dec 1907 in Bevier, Macon, Missouri.  married John Richards, 8 Sept 1860.  Source Saints Herald Obituaries, 1908 p 165. Did he marry twice?  Are there 2 John Richards of similar ages in Bevier?  Related?.

Gives sources as Marriage Certificate of William Richards to Harriet Jones
Death Certificate of Harriet Jones Richards,  Birth Certificates of John, Elias, Martha and Eleazer.  Census records show some of these.  Mary Richards came to Utah in 1853 with friends, older brother and 3 younger children.  William Richards Couldn't write.  He put an X for his signature.  William Richards Sr. came in 1855 when he had saved enough money.  William Richards,Sr.  was the first member of the family to join the LDS Church; aposticized to Josephite Church (RLDS).
