Peter Rice was born on 24 October 1658 at Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1,2,3 He was the son of Thomas Rice and Mary King.1,2,3 In 1688 Peter married Rebecca How, daughter of Abraham How and Hannah Ward.4,1,3,5 Capt. Peter Rice served in 1711 as He was a captian of the training band and a member of the committee who designated the garrison houses in 1711.1,3 He left a will on 6 January 1746/47 at Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.3 He died on Wednesday, 28 November 1753 at Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 95 years, 1 month and 4 days.1,3 Peter's will was proved on 7 January 1754 at Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.3
