Parents were born in Germany, per 1910 census House painter, per 1900 census 1880, living with family of H Loudenschlager and wife Nellie, listed as a boarder and occupation was painter.
Birth and death dates came from an incomplete and now defunct website, although her husband was listed as widowed on the 1910 census
NOTE: The IGI lists a second husband, Harry Armstrong, but there is no other evidence of this. Also, on the 1930 census, she is shown with two children born after her divorce with Henry, still carrying the Butler name, as she is. Either there are some errors on the census, or these daughters were born out of wedlock, and the father is possibly Harry Armstrong. We were unable to locate a Harry Armstrong in Chicago in 1910 or 1920 who is born in New York (the daughers list their father's birthplace as NY) and fits the criteria. No additional information about these daughters is known. Further research is needed.
