   HISTORICAL: see from,
               Alfred brought his family from Nottingham Eng. in 1913 to
               a farm south of Edgerton close to his brother, Bud's farm.
               Alfred developed multiple sclerosis.In 1923 they moved to Provost
               where his wife became a travelling music teacher to provide for
               the family.

   OCCUPATION: Besides raising a family of four she was a dedicated music teacher
               for many years especially in the Provost area. Gertrude played in
               her Anglican church for many years. She also had a great singing
               voice and used it in the church choir and duets.

   ended up teaching north of Provost at Ferry Hill for 5 years where she
   married a farmer. See the book "From the Isles to the Prairie" written by

   RESIDENCE: after marriage lived in Red Deer at 5105 - 45 Ave (1942-1988)
   OCCUPATION: Marshall, in his younger days liked to play the trombone and so
               played at many of the local dances especially in the Provost area.
               He took up selling life insurance and real estate and eventually
               moved to Red Deer.  He loved curling along with his wife.

   OCCUPATION: Maise was a very special child that couldn't speak so never learned
               to read or write, but completely understood her father and took
               care of all his needs during the 20 years he was confined to a
               wheel chair. She would always be found not far from her father
               whom she loved greatly.

              Westminster. Becoming confined to a wheel chair he had to quit the
