        when it became  incorporated as part of Edinburgh and North Leith was and is a part of Leith.
    There are 3 counties, East Lothian, Mid Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh was wholly
         contained within Mid Lothian and at one time the correct address for someone living in
         Edinburgh was xx Street, Edinburgh, Mid Lothian Scotland, however that form of address 
         is no longer in use,  and now the address is xx Street, Edinburgh, Scotland
