                   Married Eloyce abt 1809.  His birthdate is unknown.  He was under age 14  at the time of his fathers estate was settled in 1792 .  He chose James Rockwell as his guardian at that time He was in New Haven, Vt. by 1799 and later settled in Berkshire,Vt.  He was enumerated there in 1810,20,30.  It is reasonable to conclude that this is the Francis Manville Rublee who was in Wisconsin in 1836/7 and then went west.  At the time his wife Eloyce died in LaCrosse, Wi.in 1853 she was a widow.

On 30-Dec-1792, Francis Robblee, a minor over the age of 14 years, chose James Rockwell, Yeoman of Lanesborough, as his guardian. He was in New Haven, VT. by 1799 and later settled in Berkshire. Census records place him there 1810-1830. It is thought that this is the Francis Manville Rublee who was in Wis. in 1836 -37 and then "went west". At the time his wife, Eloyce died in LaCrosse, Wis. in 1853, she was a widow.

He settled in LaCrosse, having come from Walworth Co. WI. in April of 1851 when just 4 families lived there. LaCrosse DAR, 19??, PAGE 69. He and his wife were among the first members of the Congregational Church formed in 1852.
He owned and ran a store in LaCrosse and was active in community and church affairs. He was the sergeant-at-arms in the Territorial Assembly of 1840-41. [Western Hist. Co. 1881.]
