I don`t believe that Joseph was off by more than 5 years on the age of his old est son of the same name. In the Tryon Graveyard, the family of Thomas lies more than fifty yards away from that of Joseph, son of Joseph. That stone stands in solitude away from all others. Possibly the church records might shed some light on the people buried there as well those whose monuments have faded. Bill McColley mentions in 1 of his letters that Thomas and William were step bros. to Henry. Was Thomas' ship Mary Ann lost off Sable Is. in 1852?
