LOPP'S DIST. THAT IS NOW DAVIDSON CO. AS DOES JACOB HAMM AND CHRISTIAN HAMM. IN AMERICAN LOYALIST CL. SAID,BOUGHT FROM DAVID ETTLEMAN IN 1774,250 ACRES ON ABBOTTS CREEK WITH SAWMILL AND GRIST MILL.  WIFE WAS LIVING WITH FATHER IN CAROLINA.

Will dated 28 July 1813,proced 27 July 1816. wife Barbara onethird part of real estate and stock and all horsehold frtniture for life while she remains my widow,and at her deathy to be divided among my children.  Sons Matthias,Andrew and Beorge,David and Melitia;,also to my daughters Barbara,Elizabeth and Julyan(also noted as Juliah)the remaining two /thirds of my land and stock to be divided equally.  Grandson Andrew Hamm, eldest son of Charles Hamm,one shilling if demanded.  Wife Barbara,sons Matthias and Andrew Hamm executors.  Witnesses'Philip Nase,William n John Nase.
