12 Dec. 1764,Ezekiel Cavenor(Cavender)? was the surety to the bond of Catherine King the Administratrix of Thomas King in Dorchester Co. Maryland. On Oct. 20.,1779 Ezekiel Cavender purchased from Robertson Stephens and his wife Jannet Stephens 73 acres of land in Dorchester Co. Maryland,known as Newport which was located on the east side of the N.W. fork of the Nanticoke River in Dorchester Co. Maryland. On the same day Ezekiel Cavender and his wife,Nancy sold to Robert Stephens 85 acres of land in Dorchester Co. Mary. known as Ezekiels fortune which was located on the east side of the N.W. fork of the Nanticoke River in Dorchester Co. Maryland. 18 Sept.1780 Ezekiel cavender and Ann (sometimes known as Nancy) sold to William Paddison 73 acres of land in Dorchester Co. Maryland. known as Newport,which was located on the east side of the N.W. fork of the Nanticoke River and which he has previously purchased from Robertson Stevens and Hannet on 20 Oct.1779. On 9 Sept.1786 Ezekiel Cavender and Guy Vermillion for 28 Pds. and 8 shillings purchase 150 acres of land on both sides of Little Fork of Wolf Is.creek adjacent to Joseph Curry and and Nathaniel Harrison in Rockingham Co. N.C.
