MO. & KY.PIONEERS BY E.A.CORDRY.Morgan Co History,Came from Cooper Co. and settled on a 400 acre farm in the Northern part of Morgan Co. the farm lies on the so. side of Flat Creek and east and west of Richland Creek.
Morgan Co. History states there was a dau.Jane married Jim Dinsomon. Doesn't mention Francis. He was also a patriot WIFE ,SARAH ELIZABETH MC FARLING. Residing in Texas in 1864,according to statement of David K. his brother at time of fathers death.
Cooper Co. Mo. deeds,pg.25; Indenture made 25,Sept. 1850,between John A. Steele and Sarah his wife of Co. of Cooper Co. Mo. on the one part and William Steele of the Co. afore said on the other part.  80 acres to Wm. Steele . signed  John and Sarah. Descendents of Va.,Ky. and Mo. Pioneers pg. 85, by CordryREV.
