Sanders  Gen. info. in Oregon donation land claims vol.2...Isaac was appointed guardian for the children of John and Mary Havird.  Mary died in Aug. 1849 in Ill John died on the Ore. trail. Isaac app. 6 Mar. 1854. Children were Horton H. born 17 dec. 1834,Triphena Ann born 2 May 1838, Selvina(Selviana)Ann born 6 July 1842, Lafayette J. born 29 Aug.1840(d.18 May 1876),Irene Ann born 17 July 1844,Monteray Ann born 6 Dec 1846(M. John Ayres),Mary Ann born 27 Dec 1848.      Isaac settled claim in Marion Co. on 1 Oct 1848.  "The Prairie Gleaner"Vol 1 Dec 1869 ,pub. by West Central Mo. Genealogical Soc.,Warrensburg,Mo. info.in query from Mrs E.O. Price, RR 2,Knob Noster Mo. Isac and wife were living in Or. terr.when John Fisher died 15 Oct 1855 in Johnson co. Mo. gave Margaret as dau. of John and Mary Petre. Isaac and Margaret dau. was noted as being named Mary.
                  

                      Wm. Hedrick of Pettis Co. to Wm. Steele of cooper Co. sec. 4 twsp 45 2 May 1839    Beverly Gardner puts together a family living in Chariton co. Mo.There is no proof that William is the son of Joseph. The info. for his family line has been put together with census records and what marriage info. I wasable to find on a brief stop in Keytesville in 1995. The courthouse was already closed but I found a little library/museum that was still open. The man there was very understanding and stayed open for me to search what he had avaiable. The original Chariton Co. Courthouse burned and all the old records were destroyed. More research is needed to prove these three sons are those of William, son of Joseph or the discovery of a distatant relative.
There is also a William Hedrick age 76 b. Ky.in Deep Water,Bates,Missouri 1880 census film#1254673pg. 164a living with William Compton and Minerva wife and 4 children,  wm. is listed as rel. other
