First was born 30 Aug 1701, the son of Herman Brockhausen and Elisabeth Eisman. The other was born 28 Feb 1703 of Henrich Brockhausen and Margaretta Kottendorffs. Researcher was not able to determine the correct parents.

    At marriage, he took his first wife's surname from her first marriage to Tumlohe, which was also found spelled Thumlohe, Tomlohe, Tomlo, and Zumlohe.
