                       Alvin was a farmer. He was inducted into the Seabees at Ft. Leavenworth in June 1942 and trained at Norfolk, Virginia. In 1944, from a camp in Alabama, he was sent to the Philippines. He was 32 years old at that time. Later he lived at Leavenworth and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Leavenworth city street department. He died of cancer, and is buried in the National Cemetery at Fort Leavenworth. There may have been children, William W. and Geraldine.
