'In Caroline Co. Order Book 1746-54, p 62, 10 Nov 1752, Thomas states he is 61 years old.There is considerable controversy concerning the wife of Thomas. John C. GRAVES believed her to be a Davenport. Mrs. Hiden thought she was a Clark. Neither offer any documentation. Thomas was associated with both the Davenport and Clark families.......It is possible Thomas had two wives, the first being Sarah Davenport, daughter of William Davenport and Ann Woodruff, the second being Ann Rice Clark, a widow and daughter of Thomas and Marie Rice.'

Eleanor Ann Rice is probably the Ann Rice, above.  Thomas Rice and Mary or Marcy Hewes are listed as parents.
