Daddy (Henry Galbraith) called her "Libbie" or "Swee". Shye was a devoted wife and mother. She was sentimental and religious. During her entire life she was loved by everyone who knew her. All the Indians and people who worked for Daddy loved her becasue she did kind deeds for them. She taught in the public schools and Sunday School classes, participated in church plays. She was a diplomat and smoothed over many unpleasant situations that arose in Daddy's work. She had many heartaches and in later life, a diatetic condition which was hard to bear. I know she is continuing her work for God on the other side. She was pure, sweet, efficient, competent, understanding, intellectual, loyal, understanding, faithful and a wonderful cook and provider. Generous to all. She was nervous and we children were often moisy, sh'd say "I wish I could fly" In July 17, 1904 her mother Lora Ann Amelia Starr wrote this to her: "Libbie, dear child,
"Beautiful thoughts are sweet scented flowers
That lighten the burden of wearisom hours
And in this garden may memory trace
One fond reflection of your dear Mother's face"

Kathryn suffered from asthma and other chest ailments from about 6 years of age until her death. Before these illnesses sapped her strength, she was a very beautiful girl. Mother always worried about her health. When she was in Baltimore, Maryland with Gerald, she (mother) wrote how much she missed Kathryn becasue she was with her so much. Kathryn was buried in the family plot near mother's grave in the Clarkdale Cemetary. The funeral was held at 3 pm 26 Sept 1951. Lawrence A. Jones (Elder) dedicated her grave. The LDS Church in Cottonwood conducted the services. Kathryn died of Emphasema which brought on here heart failure. Just before she died she said, "Mother" so we believe Mother had come to meet her.

Kay was baptized first in 1930 or 31 burt she lost the records. Aunt Maul LaFranki and I took her to the Adams Ward in Los Angeles in the summer of 1930 or 31 to be bapized and confirmed. Because she had lost her records, she was again baptized in Needles, AZ. WRITTEN BY BEULAH G. JONES 8-6-65

Everett, her husband was baptized and confirmed on the same day, 26 Apr 1942. He remarried Nov 24, 1956

"Baby" Galbraith was stillborn but only a short time before birth. The cord had strangled both babies...possibly refering to Jsmes. After his birth, Dr. said mother should neverhave another baby. He was buried by James in the Valley View Cenetary in Clarkdale, AZ He was given no name....just "Baby"

Mother said his complexion was pink and white. He weighed about 10 lbs.(typical of a diabetic pregnancy)
