                   RESEARCH:  Coleen has two sheets, with some questionable items esp. on
            the one sheet.  But that sheet did list another child, a MelvinT.
            Smith, born 17 July 1854 with Adelbert being born 16 Aug 1856and
            Melissa A. Smith at the end of the family, #12, with no birthdate and
            they have her (Melissa) as marrying Joseph Ford 2 Jan. 1873.The
            record I choose to record on the Family Group Sheet came fromGrandma
            Mecham's family records, and from a bible
            of Phillip and Eliza Smith (in the posession of Ervan Clegg of
            Tabiona, Utah) and from cemetary records.  There is no sourceon the
            questionable sheet.

RESEARCH:  Husband's mother's surname:  BRASSWELL OR BRAZEL.

HISTORY:  Came to Utah 1852.  Sheriff of Wasatch Co.  Was in IndianBlack Hawk
            war.  School trustee, farmer.  Nauvoo Legion.
