IMMIGRATION: Meyer (Mayer) family fled Palatinate to Holland due to religious persecution and to America Abt 1700 with entire family; In 1710 settled at Livingston Manor NY in Schoharie Valley near the Hudson River. In Abt 1711 migrated to PA, possibly down Schuylkill River to Perkiomen Creek,where a Christian Miers owned land next to Bishop Henry Funk. Finally settled at Indian Creek, Franconia Twp, Philadelphia Co (now Montgomery Co), PA.
