                   "On the 21st near the house of Secretary Smith, Anthony
                   Bledsoe, son of the late, Col. Anthony Bledsoe & Anthony                      Bledsoe, son of the late Isaac Bledsoe, were both killed
                   by Indians & scalped (their fathers, were both killed by
                   Indians, one, in his house, the other in his field.)  The
                   same party of Indians captured a valuable negro fellow
                   belonging to Secretary Smith."
