D. 1775 and marched to the mouth of the Pisatagua River and stationed at Fort Washington a littlebelow Portsmouth, NH and did the duty of Capt. for at least two months. Again in the summer of 1775 the first of July he thinks he entered the service of the State of NH in the company commanded by Capt. JohnDecan and enlisted eight months under said enlistment as second Lieutanant William Babb was first lit. that he marched from Portsmouth to Cambridge, MA, in the regiment commanded by Henderson a part ofthe time and a part of the time in the regiment command by Col.
