According to Hazel Morrison Moor, Hector's Great Granddaughter, the Morrison
Family Bible was lost at Mirimichi, New Brunswick, in a fire some time prior to
the birth of Hazel. Stillwater Cemetery outside of Orono, Maine, may have
records.

compiled by Milton and Leona Chaplin Ellis, and published in 1949. Among other
things it states he was a fisherman and lumberman and moved to Bangor, Maine,
about 1850, and shortly thereafter to Orono, Maine. The " about" is close since
he still appears on the 1851 Nelson Parish, Northumberland County, New
Brunswick, Canada census in the household with his mother, Ann, and other
children.
