Take State Route 2003 south for 2.7 miles to state Route 2011. Turn right on 2011 for 1.5 miles to Licking Prebyterian Church on the corner of the intersection of T-484. Turn right here and go up the hill.1 mile to the Presbyterian cemetery behind the church. Lutheran Reformed cemetery on the right. His plot is in the back right hand side of cemetery. Like his father he was a miller by trade. He served as a private in the Revolution and in 1794 was captain of the 1st company, 4th Regiment of the Northampton Co., militia. Casper Flick in 1785 paid a tax oon 12/16/03 on 193 acres, 1 horse, 2 cattle in Moore twp... In 1789 he took out a warrant for 400 acres in Northampton county; in 1808 another tract of 50 acres; and in 1832 another tract of 12 acres.
Article entittled Capt. Gerlach Paul Flick pg 261-262 Flicksville, PA named after him. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Legislature in 1840-41 and he held other responsible offices and served in the War of 1812 until peace was declared.

The barn later burned down. A rail fence enclosing the flick farmyard and the Flick stagecoach and its horses were recalled by Verona residents in earlier years. The earliest town meeting minutes in the records are for the meeting of april 7, 1857 held at the home of Town Clerk Joseph Flick who was also an innkeeper and the Verona Postmaster.
