was born in Ireland about 1712 and came to America in 1735. He was married to Elizabeth Rosborough, from Donegal county, Ireland. He settled on a farm 2 miles east of Harrisburg, whre he died in 1792. It was his brother, James Wilson, who signed the Declaration of Independence.

Wilson, William Wiulson, Robert wilson Robert Wilson was a privatein Westmoreland county militia. He was born in PA near Harrisburt on Oct 4, 1741. Jan 29, 1767, he married Esther Parks and moved to South Carolina, where they lived for about 13 years. While there he was a farmer. He returned to Harrisburg, crossed the Allegheny mountains before the Revolutionary War. He bought land in Westmoreland county, seven miles from Blairsville, where he died in 1812. He was a wheelright and worked at this trade in Conemaugh.
