Henry Elliott Gibson - name appeared on marriage certificate - md by Daniel H. Wells - copy of cert in pos NKF.  Certificate also states he was "of Richmond, Utah"
Henry Elliott Gibson - name appeared on death certificate, informant Isabell Kerr (wife #2) cert states he was "of Ogden, Weber, Utah at time of death.
Weber, Utah Census 1880 states Henry Elliott was a wagon maker  f29171 pt 5
Henry Elliott's sealed to parents date - I am looking for the source of that date, I can't find reference to it in my files. (15/12/01)

Historical notes:  Henry E came to Utah with Heber C. Kimball's company from winter quarters.  latter part of the journey was a company headed by Brigham Young.

He and David Eccles in 1873 were partners.  partnership cont's 7 years - after that partners with DG Nelson and CA. S. Murthwaite

He was justice of peace in Richmond and a member of the first city council of Richmond for two terms, adjutant of a regiment of militia under command of Chuncey West. Served one term a member of Ogden City council under Mayor Bourgh's administration.  One relative described him as the most kindly soul that ever lived.  He was kind. Would have taken in sick animals - very compassionate.

                   Martha Eliza was first wife to Henry Eliott Gibson, and died two years after his plural marriage to my grandmother, Isabella VanDyke Kerr - of madness.  The list of children from Martha and Henry was given to me by a cousin who received it from Florence West Wright - another relative.  The hand-written note is in my file.
