Survivors include three step daughters,nine step g/children and several step great g/children, two sisters Mrs.Fay Meeker of Cranston and Mrs. Clinton (Mary) Hafner of rural Letts.Burial will be in the Oak Grove cemetery near Cranston Iowa.

Notes from obit; She was the daughter of William and Ada (Sloan) Young.She had resided in Muscatine
before moving to Cranston three years ago. Surviving are her husband LeoBrookhart, one son by a previous marriage Leo Oppelt Jr. of Muscatine,one daughter Mrs. Walter Sellers of this city, two g/children. Precedingher in death was a sister in infancy. Burial was in Greenwood cemeteryin Muscatine Iowa.
