                   BIR-MAR-DEA-BUR:  Source his 1st wife and children (all living, Mar 1993).
BAP: 1916 in Mount Washington Presbyterian Church, near Farmington.

OCC:  Salesman, principally factory sales of pleasure boats in the 50 & 60s and
mobile homes in the 70 & 80s.  Welder in Pittsburgh Ship Yards during WWII.
Owned and operated a fleet of coal hauling trucks after the war.

HISTORY:  Born, raised and lived in what had been Mount Washington Tavern (Inn)
prior its purchase, as a home, by William's great grandfather Godfrey
Fazenbaker.  This Inn overlooks Gen Geo. Washington's first fort, one needed in
in fighting the French and Indians, Fort Neccesity and the battle that insued
was Washington's only loss.
    He rode his tricycle around this huge (seven bedroom two story) house by
candle light mounted on his "trike".  After his mother died, he was a little
over two years old, his Aunt Arminda (Minnie) Hansel (she never married) came
to live with him, his father, and grandmother Fazenbaker.  When he was 10 his
grandmother died and his Aunt Minnie took took him to live in near by Uniontown.
His father brought him back to the mountains when he was about 13 years old.
