                   Good Afternoon HalWhat a nice surprise to hear from another researcher. It has been a long dry spell. I had to go back and check what I had posted. I have been very busy trying to find my paternal grandfather's parentage. He was quite a private man. The only clue I had to start with was that his father's name was Henry and he was from PA. By process of elimination I narrowed my main search down to the Henry who would have been the son of Dennis and Susan Burkholder. I may still be wrong, but I have gotten a lot of information about this family. He married SUSAN BURKHOLDER 05 Sep 1852 in Summit Twp., Somerset Co., PA by Michael Hay, daughter of ABRAHAM BURKHOLDER and ELIZABETH.
