Durnbaugh, 1958, European Origins, p. 157, states that on 18 May 1711 John Naas and others, born near Worms, were permitted to reside as settlers in Dddelsheim in the Marienborn district. I have not seen the record of John Naas' Brethren baptism, but his wife was baptized by Alexander Mack at Marienborn on 5 Nov. 1712 (Durnbaugh, ibid.. p. 171). About 15 May 1714 John Naas, already a Brethren minister, bap?~zed Peter Becker and his wife
at Dfdelshein (Durnbaugh, ibid., p. 177 ). He migrated with the Brethren to Krefeld in 1715 (Durnbaugh, ibid., p. 186?188) and arrived in Philadelphia on 29 Sept. 1733 (Atrnbaugh, ibid., p. 301, 302); settling at Amwell, New Jersey.
