About 1814, John and Hannah moved to Salt Lick Twp., Fayette Co., Pa.near Champion, and in 1832, moved to Sugar Creek Twp., Stark Co., Ohio,near Wilmont. In Stark County, John entered 320 acres of Land. He andHannah both died of Asiatic Cholera. They are buried in the WeimerChurch cemetery. A stone was erected several years after their death bytheir son, Elias, but the bronze plaque which held the inscription, wasmelted down for the war effort.
He married Elizabeth Putman at Somerset, Pennsylvania . Elizabeth Putman was born at Northampton, Pennsylvania 20 May 1753 daughter of Andreas Boudemont and Catherine Barbara Bourgey, Anna Catherine .
