                   About 1814, John and Hannah moved to Salt Lick Twp., Fayette Co., Pa.near Champion, and in 1832, moved to Sugar Creek Twp., Stark Co., Ohio,near Wilmont.  In Stark County, John entered 320 acres of Land.  He andHannah both died of Asiatic Cholera.  They are buried in the WeimerChurch cemetery.  A stone was erected several years after their death bytheir son, Elias, but the bronze plaque which held the inscription, wasmelted down for the war effort.

                   Peter moved to Stark County, Ohio with his father in 1832, and in 1840,moved to Dublin Township, Mercer County, Ohio, settling just northeast ofShanes Crossing.  He purchased 161 acres in section six in 1840, and soldit to his brothers-in-law, W.R. and P. Schlater in 1841 to purchase 183acres in Section ten.  In 1841, 1853 and 1855, he purchased land insection three.  From 1867 to 1882, Peter deeded all of his land insection three to Josiah, thomas, William Dull, and and Nancy Jane Hooks.In 1882, Peter sold the home farm, consisting of 100 acres, in sectionten to Nancy Jane Hooks, and teh remaining 83 acres to William Dull.From 1882 til his death, Peter resided with his daughter, Nancy JaneHooks.  Catherina died on October 8, 1882 and is buried beside Peter inRidge Cemetery in Van Wert County, Ohio.
