Moses Hunsberger , Rev. GOTTSHALL
--Source of information: "Michael A. Barnhart" ;
I have checked two separate references (the 1924 Gottshall Book and the 1995 Hunsberger's (vol 2) book) and they list the information this way.
Neither lists this as a second marriage but both would be from Catharine's side. I would think that Rebecca either died young or the marriage was in error. I list the second as an option as the last name Jordan does not appear and in many cases you had multiple family relationships.
As far as the Church is concerned I have so many references I must be somewhere.
In a note on Catherine's father "His paternal grandfather, Gottshall Gottshall, had moved from Towamencin to Frederick Township in 1781, and bought a tract of land which contained 100 acres, one mile west of Schwenksville. Here Moses H. Gottshall was born and lived all his life." But this is his farm rather than the church location.
He married Hannah Oberholtzer Clemens 6 Feb 1840 . Hannah Oberholtzer Clemens was born at 17 Oct 1819 .
They were the parents of 8
