Notes:
Anna Mladek-Krejci lost both her father, Tomas Mladek, and her husband, Jan Krejci, in 1869; there was only a difference of two yeaers in their ages. She was able to make a living farming with two oxen and the help of her sons. The oldest son, Frantisek was her chief assistant. She also served her community through her training as a midwife. Jan Krejci had two brothers, Josef and AntonKrejci, all sons of Christin and Marie Krejci.

"Katherine V. Moler, age 78 years, passed away at a local hospital Wednesday, September 26, following a four-day illness. Mrs. Moler came to Bellingham ten years ago and was a member of the Church of the Nazarine. She is survived by her husband, Peter M. Moler; five daughters, Miss Gladys A.L. Moler and Mrs. Alvin A. Gowens, this city; Mrs. J.C. Bruce, Cedar Rapids, Ia., Mrs. L.H. Wheeler, Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. A.C. Morgan, Mitchell, South Dakota; five sons, Clarence L., John V., and Myron C.E. of Garden City, Kan., Louis I., of Blaine, Wash., and Millard P., Meade, Kan,; thirty-two grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. The remains rest at the funera home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by Revs. Harold L. Lewis and D.B. Kunkle, Tuesday, October 2, at 1:30 p.m. Final resting place, Bay View cemetery."
