Attorney L.E. (Ned) Johnson was stricken and died unexpectedly in his
office in Fairmont Friday, February 11.  He was born in Berkeley Springs
68 years ago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest L. Johnson, N. Washington
Street.  He was a graduate of the West Virginia University College of
Law.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Jo Conway Johnson, at the home in
Fairmont; one son, William Johnson, affiliated with the College of Law of
West Virginia University, and one brother, J. William Johnson, Palm
Beach, Fla.  Services and burial were conducted Sunday, February 13, in
Fairmont.
