       Ref 1:  When in his twenty-first year, J. T. Gilmore, later Judg e Gilmore
of Millwood Township, married Miss Elizabeth Gilliland, a native of M illwood
Township, Lincoln County.  They had 8 chldren.  One of them, Elizabet h F. is
the widow (1895) of James Wombles, formerly a farmer and stock-raise r of St.
Clair County. . . Elizabeth Gilliland died 20 May 1870.
