   died 17 Mar 1982, he was single; Margaret 28 Dec 1915, died 14 Oct 1991, she was single; Peter 28 Dec 1915, died 
1988-89, married Johanna Fettig, later divorced; Jacob 06 March 1920, is single.

OBITUARY:
Jakob Wagner, 74 years old, a resident of Emmons county since 1909, died last Thursday night in his sleep at his home in Linton. Mr. Wagner was called for breakfasr Friday morning and when he failed to answer it was discovered that he had passed during the night. Death was attributed to infirmities of age. Jakob Wagner was born in Krasna, Russia March 8, 1871, and was married in that city. His wife died about 20 years ago. In June of 1909 he came to America and settled at that time in Emmous county, about 15 miles southwest of Linton. There he resided until 1943, when he retired from farming and moved to Linton, He has lived here since. Surviving are 9 children; Melchoir, Balzer, Max and Margaret Wagner, all of Linton; Peter and Jack Wagner, of Aberdeen, SD; Celestine Ternes of Krassna and Odelia and Irene Deck both of Harvey. Funeral services were held Monday from St. Anthony's Church of Linton and burial was in the church cemetery. Sons of Mr. Wagner acted as pallbearers. All the children attended the funeral. Edward Wagner, 80, Bismarck, passed away, Oct. 14, 2008, at Medcenter One, Bismarck. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Church of the Ascension, Bismarck, with the Rev. Jerry Kautzman officiating. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home, Mandan, with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before the service at the church. Edward was born Jan. 16, 1928, at Linton, to Balzar and Josephine (Lipp) Wagner. He was raised and educated in Linton, where he graduated from high school. On Nov. 15, 1949, he married Magdalena Johs in Hague. Edward began working for KEM Electric Cooperative in 1949 as a lineman, and retired in 1989 as a lineman superintendent. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and traveling. He was a member of St. Anthony Church Council, American Legion, served on the Linton Municipal Airport board, and was a Linton City Councilman. He is survived by his wife, Lena; one daughter and son-in-law, Glorietta and Delmer Meidinger, St. Cloud, Minn.; three sons, Ronald Wagner, Elgin, South Carolina, Mark Wagner, Fargo, and Thomas Wagner and his special friend, Bobbi Hart, Coon Rapids, Minn.; one sister, Berna Wagner, Sioux City, Iowa; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Jack (Celia) Wagner, Linton, Pete Wagner, Spokane, Wash., Bill (Vangie) Wagner, Bismarck, Rueben (Ginger) Wagner, Seattle, and Andy (Vickie) Wagner, Bismarck; five grandchildren, Daniel Wagner, Chad Meidinger, Wendy Laugen, Christopher Wagner and Sarah Wagner; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Ariana and Zachary; and three step-great-grandchildren, Kendra, Alex and Tom. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eugene and Pius; and one sister, Luella.
