1973.
Will book 975.271 V 7-9 Balt. Co. Maryland. Dorthea's will states brothers are John & Andrew.
Also Says 2nd wife Barbara & Emiline his daughter was born after John died.

Baltzer Beitzel 1779

Kirchen Ordrieng--Hnns 1779 in Jahn Christi, din 3 Octsbus.

Apparently Baltzer was an elder in this church in 1779.
This church was organized in 1750.  The North Luthoran and this church met
together until Sept. 1757.

I found a lot of Bentzel's including Baltzer.  In Vol. 2. pge 178 this is what
it said.  Baltzer Bentzel ans Deutschland, anns 1753, 5 March 6 March 1816.

Also these other German words:   Verzeichniss der Gestmebenen,  Namender
Versterbenen in Vataerland,  Tag or lag I Geburt,  Tag das Todt or lodt, Tag
das grabrick.

   Also Catherine Bentzel was a daughter of Heinrich Bentzel  Pge 166,168.
   Also Phillip Bentzel, I think Baltzar's brother was a witness to baptism's of
three children.  Pge 14.
Also Phillip was I think something 29 Apr 1778, Something the word anno or anns
or amms Jan 15 and 16 1815.

Two other interesting things, I will have to go back to this film and read
again,  It's all in German so I get a little confused.  Okay here goes.

1795  l. Sophia-- Mr Baltazer Bengels  Tochter (Daughter) 12 Jan 6 Jahre
(Year)  alt (old),  Now I have to find out if that means she died.

Pge 212:  1792  Maria Sophia Bentzel, alt (old) 39 Jahre (year) 7 mo starb
(died) am 15 ten Marz (March) mirde am 17 Marz (March) begraben (Buried) 18
mirde die (the) seichenrede, gehalten. We think this is Baltzar's wife, but if
she died. Then what about the Maryland Census in 1810.
I looked in the Maryland

Census Book 975.2x29p. I began with 1776, but found
him in 1810 census, film no. 0,913,669. Pge 451

He was living in Marsh, Washington Co., Maryland, 4 members in household, 2
heads of families 45 or older, one family member 16-26 and one family member
10-16. Now as I look at my notes, I probably should go back and check that
again.

0,013,693  Marriage License in Baltimore 1777 to 18 something  Nothing.

0,914,096 lst German R. Church in the 1800's nothing.

Book 929.273 Spl4b  Bentzel Name by Spahr.

Book 975.277/tlv26t:  Maryland Church German Records, St. Marys Evangelical
Lutheran Church  Silver Run, Carroll Co.  1784-1863.   Found Bentzel's after
Batlazar.  But not Barbara, do find her in York Co. Penn.
