                   RESEARCH NOTE:  Mt. Hope Cemetery Records show birth and death as 1842-1913.  Occupation on 1880 census shows that he worked at the "Warki Brewery", and that he and his parents were both from Prussia.  Immigrated in 1870, on the 1900 census it appears that he is naturalized.  Modern place of Lindenbusch does not seem to be populated, but a little village, ubno, near Miastko, in the county Koszalin, in the district of West Pomerania, in Poland is the modern place name for his birthplace. ubno is about a mile west of old Lindenbusch.

OTHER CHILDREN:  Carl's daughter-in-law, Elvera Matilda Larsen, believed that Carl had other children by his first wife, Johanna Vogt. Elvera Dreier believed that the other children died as young children.
