Michael Claure's Land being Six hundred and ninety Eight Acres lying in
Orange County for the which he hath taken out a pattent in his own andhis Son John
Claur's name is divided between him the said Michael Claure and his
Son John Claure as followeth vizt The division Line begins at a white
Wallnut on the Robinson River and Running Cross the Lands to a
Chestnut Oak the Upper part being four hundred acres in approprated
for John Claure and the lower one being two hundred and ninety Eight
to Michael Claure
       At a Court held for Orange County on Tuesday the
       twentieth day of May 1735
This Division of Six hundred and Ninety Eight Acres of Land between
Michael & John Claure was on the Motion of the said Michael Claure

trust for the Life of the German Congregation in Virginia

in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Sterlign to him in
hand paid By the said Michael Glore & George Utz the Receipt
whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Granted Bargained

the said Michael Glore & George Utz All that Tract or Parcell of
Land Scituate lying & being in Orange County aftd Containing
by Estimation Six hundred & Eighty five Acres of Land be the
same more or Less being the Land at the Great Mountains in the
Great fork of Rappahannock River Granted to ye sd Tho Farmer
by Pattent bearing date the xxiij day of January MDciixxxii
for Seven hundred & Seventy five acres inclusive wth ye Ninety &
a half Acres of Land Surveyed & laid off by Zachery Taylor Gent
at the Request of Thos Farmer, being so much land as Ralph
Banks's Pattent is high runs into the said Farmers land & is an
older pattent than the said Farmer together with the Acre of
