Moved to Michigan with some children and married again. Widower, died of enlargement of stomach, 76 yrs. by death certificate.First wife was Emeline R. and died 5-1-1839 in Macedon, New York. A story in the family related by Lucile [Walworth] Nichols, is that Warner wandered by and worked for Adelia P. Baker having lost her husband and needing help on the farm. There may have been children of this union, but they all died young of T.B.. Warner and Adelia were married 1 February, 1841. Warner purchased land from a Benjamin Jones of Macedon, New York which was located in Michigan on 5 May 1841. This was recorded in Hillsdale County on 20 June, 1842. Purchase price was $80. He also recorded a Warranty Deed on March 13, 1841 in Michigan. This was for &160 in cash. He was therefore not without means. He brought with him some children. His gravestone states he was 73y and 18d at the time of his death.
Burial stone records age at 81 y, 10 mo, and 28 days, Randolph Cemetery. NOTE: Adelia was married to a Mr. Baker before marrying Warner M. Baker. There were several children born to this marriage. After Mr. Baker died, she lived on a farm on Sterling Road and took care of her family.

Buried Randolph Cemetery--age 33y, 6mo,27 days. According to the probate record of Warner Baker she was deceased in 1881 and the mother of Forrest and Bernice Rose. The tombstone reads Hannah A. Rose Baker.
1850 census states age of 3. 1860 census he is not listed. Impression is that several of the children may have died since he had twin brothers who were 11 months on the 1850 census and are missing on the 1860 census..
Was a twin. He was listed on the 1850 census as 11 mo old. Not listed on the census of 1860.
One of twins. 11 mo old on 1850 census. Not present on the 1860 census. Possible death from was of a contageous nature since his twin and another sib simililary were missing on the 1860 census.
I never knew C.F.Baker. References were made to his cantankerous and difficult personality. I have a memory of having visited his farm home when he was an old man and being around an old garage with tools and an old car. I did not feel comfortable. He died when I was about eight.
As of 1894 he is listed as being 38. Married to Donna Carpenter. Children are 1. Clifford, 12, 2. Clarence, 9, 3. Earl, 4.
